Our counselling is a undertaken by our fully qualified person-centred counsellor Jan Murray who has a Diploma of Higher Education Person-Centred Counselling which is accredited by Essex University. She also
has a certificate in Couple Counselling. Couple Counselling is for any two
people, not just husband and wife or partners, it also includes same sex partners, mother / daughter, father / son or sibling relationships.
Mrs Murray is a member of the British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) and therefore must adhere to their code of ethics. The humanistic, person-centred approach believes everyone has the potential for change.
She has gained a wide experience in this field encouraging people to explore and understand themselves and their difficulties in a non-threatening and confidential manner. She offers counselling covering a wide range of issues such as loss, stress, low self-esteem, abuse, anger, trauma, bereavement and relationship problems.
