What Languages Do You Translate From And To ?
AGMAMI.com currently offers the following translations :-

• English to German
• German to English
• English to French
• French to English
• German to French *
• French to German *

* Note :- Only possible if English is also used, ie German to English to French.

What Format Should We Send You ?
Ideally we prefer to receive your text for translation by email with your copy embedded within the email or as a file attachment. We can also accept files for PC computers (such as MS Word, MS Works, MS Publisher, WordPad or NotePad), or Macintosh computers (such as iLife, iWorks, AppleWorks, RTF) and basic RTF (Rich Text Format) files from Linux computers.

We have the software to open HTML files, Quark Xpress files, Photoshop PSD files, Illustrator AI files, Fireworks PNG files, In Design files for PC and Macintosh computer platforms.

Note :- Please DO NOT SEND embedded Acrobat PDF files or Image files.

Faxed Copies - We can accept faxed copies in some circumstances and read the text using OCR (Optical Character Recognition) software IF the 'original' document quality is good enough.

How Do You Calculate The Cost Of A Translation ?
Like most companies who offer translations, AGMAMI.com rates are based on the actual Word Count of the 'translated document' (e.g. The German language uses compound nouns and hence the Word Count may be shorter than in English).

We also take into consideration the complexity of the translation, the timescale of requirement and any formatting or reformatting that is undertaken (ie Screen Dump Conversion, conversion from HTML to a standard text format, an OCR process etc etc)

Do You Offer A Volume Discount For Translations ?
Yes we do, AGMAMI.com will agree a discounted hourly rate with the client prior to the start of the translation project based on the volume indicated. Any further additions to the 'original brief' will be billed accordingly.

Do You Translate Legal Documents ?
No, AGMAMI.com are not a Certified Translation Company which is recognised in the legal world. We advise you to contact your local 'Certified Sworn Translator' in your area to certify your original documents for use.

Do You Translate Contracts ?
AGMAMI.com will undertake a translation in the languages which we offer and carry out the work on a 'literal basis'. *

* Note :- We will not accept any responsibility for any 'Consequential Losses' which resulted from the 'content' of the translation, e.g. we will only translate what was given to us originally and we cannot accept any losses sustained through the use of the translation by our client or their third parties.
